On the Crimean peninsula, the construction of the Balaklava (Sevastopol) and Tavricheskaya (Simferopol) CCGT-TPPs continues as part of the implementation of the federal target program “Socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol until 2020”. The delegation led by Andrey Cherezov, Deputy Head of the Government Commission for Ensuring Power Supply Security, inspected the construction of the main buildings and other facilities under construction. The Deputy Minister was accompanied by representatives of the Ministry of Energy of Russia, Rostekhnadzor, executive authorities of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, SO UES JSC, UES Technical Inspectorate JSC, Krymenergo State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chernomorneftegaz State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other organizations.
The commissioning of generating facilities at the Sevastopol and Simferopol CCGT-TPPs will ensure the required level of reliability, as well as cover the future growth in the needs of the Crimean Peninsula. At present, at the sites of the Sevastopol and Simferopol CCGT-TPPs, work on the installation of equipment has been fully completed.
