On October 24, 2017, the Youth Conference of the Academy of Electrotechnical Sciences of the Chuvash Republic (AES ChR) - 2017 was held in Cheboksary. The "House" that welcomed young scientists with a specialization in relay protection and automation was JSC "VNIIR".
The event began with a discussion by the participants of the conceptual issues of the development of the energy sector of the Russian Federation and a speech by representatives of the host country. In addition, an invited guest, Vice-Rector for Research of the Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution DPO "Petersburg Energy Institute for Advanced Studies" of the Ministry of Energy of Russia P. V. Ilyushin, spoke. This was followed by performances by young professionals. In total, 15 reports were announced, so the participants had to strictly observe the time limit (8 minutes for a report, 7 minutes for a discussion).
For the company "Relematika" this conference was very "fruitful" - three representatives of the company won prizes. This fact notes both the high level of research work and the relevance of the problems raised by our specialists, and also emphasizes the practical value of the work.
